The Challenge
A Multi-Front Renovation Address Dubai Marina is a centerpiece of the vibrant Marina district. The objective was to modernize both the public face of the hotel and the private guest experience simultaneously. The scope was extensive: a complete refresh of the Main Lobby, a redesign of "The Restaurant," and a soft renovation of 220 Guest Rooms. The critical constraint was the timeline and operational continuity. With a budget of AED 27 Million, Mouhajer International Design had to deliver this multi-zone renovation in under 6 months. Crucially, the hotel remained fully operational, meaning the lobby and dining areas had to be renovated in phases to ensure guests were never inconvenienced, and room renovations had to be completely silent to neighbors.
Urban Luxury Refined
As the Design and Build contractor, we streamlined the process by overlapping the design approvals with the procurement and site mobilization phases.. Public Areas (Lobby & The Restaurant): We updated the lobby to reflect the chic, urban energy of the Marina, utilizing contemporary furniture and sophisticated lighting to create a seamless flow. For "The Restaurant," the design focused on creating distinct dining atmospheres—energizing for breakfast, yet intimate for dinner—using bespoke joinery and warm, ambient textures.. Guest Rooms (220 Keys): The soft renovation of the rooms focused on maximum visual impact with minimal structural intrusion. We replaced carpets, curtains, and upholstery, and introduced new art and accessories to align the rooms with the modern aesthetic of the Address brand.. Live Environment Management: To handle 220 rooms alongside the lobby, we treated the hotel as a "vertical city." Work was compartmentalized floor-by-floor, with strict noise curfews and invisible logistics paths for material transport.

The Outcome
Completed in August 2021, the project revitalized Address Dubai Marina's key assets in record time. By successfully managing the complex logistics of working in a live hotel, Mouhajer Design delivered a fresh, contemporary product that immediately enhanced the guest experience and asset value.
